I'm a rising junior at a prep school and because of a poorly-timed family trip (that cannot be changed), I'll be taking the SATs in late January. Do I have enough time to study and do well? I am good at taking standardized tests.

Right now I am taking a 4 week SAT prep summer course (the first I have taken). I'll probably continue taking SAT prep classes until I take the SATs. Is this enough prep? Do any of you have advice in terms of preparation?

Thanks!

Late January? That’s more than enough time.

Eh, I’ve never cared for prep courses. But anyways…

I recommend taking a full practice test every Saturday and tracking your score. The BB is best for practice tests. Also, I feel that if you take it in January that might actually be too much; you’re going to run out of tests and lose interest. Any chance you could take it in October/November? That may be more timely. If you are having particular trouble with any subject, get a workbook. PM me for recommendations or if you want any more help.

Hi, cheerioswithmilk! I am planning to take the SAT in November, but I am not ready at all.
Can you help me with making a schedule to prepare?
