Do you think 2 months and a half is enough time to study and improve for the November SAT? I got a 1550 on my first try and I'm aiming for a 2100+ this fall. I've been trying to study for the SAT since July (when I was going to take it in October), but it's been so hard for me to study. I used to study so much better when I was going to take it for the first time.

So if I really focused starting from, let's say, today and then on - would it really be enough time to improve?

I'm giving myself three weeks. But it's three intense week of doing very little else, 4 days a week. I made my schedule so I only had 3 days of school. The rest is just going to be SAT. Wake up at 6am and go to bed at 10pm with only sat work. Should be enough....

take an sat every saturday up till test day, make sure you UNDERSTAND all your mistakes, if time permits go follow xiggi's method. Also snag a copy of Barrons 2400 to get last minute pointers, its harder then the real stuff but its nothing but techniques.

Summer after freshman year I scored 1550, got 1930 on the PSAT.
Uhh..just remember to study before the test..if you plan to retake again (that is, if you're a junior) then don't give up studying and don't take the test with no practice.
