Hello!I'm a bit puzzled about the enrollment forms.I mean the financial aid award announcement.
The last sentence of the announcement goes like this:
Initial here____if you authorize Reed College to use the financial aid funds awarded to you to pay for current educationally related charges other than tuition, fees, room, and board.

Well, what's the other educationally related charges involved?Does it hurt if I leave it blank?

They also gave me such a link.
Yeah, it didn't say anything about credit card. And I don't see year 2006-2007 but 2004-2005 (is there need for this?) and 2005-2006.
That's really strange! So I went to the bank and used money order for deposit.
But the "OTHER" "CURRENT" educationally related charges are puzzling me.I think I might as well leave it blank.
I'm not sure whether I should contact AOs about this:they are enjoying Chritmas after all.

How did they give you that link ? was it from any email or you email them to ask about it ?

If I was not wrong, I saw the option to pay by credit card a few days ago but now it disappears. I will email to Reed and tuition management to ask.

About the initial things. I am not so sure also, but I initial in that blank and mail it back to Reed. I think it's not very important. maybe if Reed College doesnt pay for these charges, then we will need to pay it ourselves and it will be quite inconvenient because we are overseas

Btw, how did you pay Reed by money order ? just pay to Reed College ? Do we need to know Reed's account number or anything ? what's the fee needed to send money order ?

Hi,qtranvu.I e-mailed dean of AO to ask about the credit card and the officer in charge gave me this link.
As to money order,I just sent it to "Reed College".I don't think it necessary to learn about its account number.I will enclose the money order and send it with my enrollment form and fanancial aid announcement.
Well,is Jan 10 the postmark deadline or received-by date?Just considering whether I should use FedEx,UPS or just through the post office.
