USC was my first choice college, and so when I received my admit pack I was a little hasty and enrolled immediately. However, I recently got accepted to other colleges that I did not really expect to get in to, and I'm now debating as to where I will go. If in the unlikely case I decide to go somewhere else, can I ring up USC and cancel my enrollment? I know I obviously lose the $300, but apart from that, would I have any other problems?
Many Thanks

Check with your guidance counselor at your high school.

yos, many people come off waitlist do that every year. It's ok to do that. You'll loose the deposit.

It's fine, but you won't get your deposit back. Let them know ASAP though, for the sake of the kids on the waitlist (if, of course, you decide to go elsewhere).

Great, thanks guys, I have peace of mind now :)
