So I've become re-interested in prize competitions lately and I was wondering if anyone know any fun ones. I know a couple that range around $25-$200 are are pretty easy but they only give them out every month or so and I'm trying to save up for something important (but not that urgent). I've tried the tougher $1000+ ones out there, but I never seem to place, unless you count Honorable Mention. So if anyone knows some, (doesn't have to be limited to writing or art) please share. I will too, if anyone out there is interested in making a little every month. Thanks.

[Spell Bound Design Challenge | The Daily Fig](http://dailyfig.figment.com/spell-bound-cover-challenge/) for this one…the only prize is a book, but I figured I might throw it in there for any bookworms lurking
[Teen Ink | Contest Resources](http://www.teenink.com/Resources/ContestsR.php) YAY TEENINK COMPILATIONS~~ iderno if it’s worth the look though

Yeah, I’d be eternally grateful if you could share some! I’ve never been good at contest scouting.

Haha I was going to share YC and Teen Ink too. I just entered YC last month to reuse a boarding school application essay, still waiting on the results. Thanks for sharing the design challenge.
I also know [LA Youth](http://www.layouth.com/) has a few essay prompts with $50 as first place and an art contest (though I think it has ended). The contests are on the margin links, and then if you click on the writing ones sometimes there will be something at the bottom (idk why there isn’t one for this month, there was one for last month). But I’ll keep watching and pm you if I find anything. The competitors aren’t too great though,
Other than that, there’s [Writing Contest for High School Students and Teens](http://www.stageoflife.com/StageHighSchool/OtherResources/WeeklyHighSchoolWritingContest.aspx) but the competitors are much better writers.
I know some really big prize ones, but those are really hard. Thanks again for replying.

Scholastic Arts and Writing seems to be the most well-known. there’s also one for writer’s digest

Here’s another one I dug up! And thanks for offering to keep me posted, I appreciate it! c:

I entered into Scholastic for two consecutive years but only won one award.
Intel and Siemens are good ones for science.

Winning a Scholastic award at all is still a sweet accomplishment. Congrats on that :)
