Envelopes

How soon can we all expect to get an envelope and is it thick, thin, big, small

I really cannot wait too much longer!

Well don't expect a big one because at least for EA kids, the acceptance letters came in a regular-sized envelope. It was kind of thick though...about three pieces of paper. And they said we'd get ours on Saturday 12/15, but my didn't come til Tuesday 12/18 (I called the admissions office on Monday and they told me I got in :) ). So if they say April 1st (Tuesday), you should get it by the end of the week depending on where you are in the country/world. Just a guess... Good luck!!

Yeah, the jerks waited till the last second to mail it, then I had to wait all day Sunday for my letter Monday! Ooh I was mad. lol.

No, it was small. Normal envelope.

Oh and mine was postmarked for the 15th haha

mine was postmarked 2/15 even though we were supposed to recieve it that day. i got it the 17th though. they were small, like everyone says. i thought it was a rejection haha

i was waiting all week for my letter and it finally came three days late!!! a girl called the admissions office in our math class on that monday and found out she got in.. but i was WAY too afraid to call haha! but when i got my letter, i was literally shaking, and the first thing that fell out was the thing that you have to mail in to commit to the school, so it was a little anti-climatic. but thrilling nonetheless =D

Congrats to all! Hope you choose to join us on the hilltop.

carlyhop, the same happened to me. the sheet that said "admitted student information" fell out.... anticlimatic indeed but whatev

I seriously screamed for like 5 minutes then called everybody.

I was very excited when I received my acceptance letter, but I also found it kind of annoying that is was a regular sized envelope. A. It makes you think that you didn't get in and B. It makes you feel as if they don't really care.

However, they also send a lot of personalized letters and cards, so it is ironic that the acceptance letter is so bland.

I didn't get my letter until about a week after (they spelled my address wrong). But that Monday, a girl from GAAP called to ask if I had any questions - I didn't even know I had gotten in yet so I was so confused/in shock! I must have sounded so out of it, lol. A good call to get during dinner!!

But yeah, from what I can tell, acceptance is always in a small envelope. Good luck!

I got the same call...did they call everyone or just the students who live in Maryland.

i think they call everyone..

but yes, aslan, it is ironic about the personalized cards and letters! but it does make me feel special!! =)

question, for those accepted ea, when are we supposed to get our fin. aid packet?

i think they come at the same time as rd decisons

The phone call came here in NJ. S wasn't home when they called, 2-15. I knew they weren't calling to say he was rejected. I'm so happy for him.
