<p>My S is contemplating these two majors, Environmental Science or Information Systems. His goal is to be employed in his field of study and on his own after obtaining his four year degree and not have to attend grad. school immediately. So, as he said to me,. Where are the jobs at? I was about to say I.S. but I don't want to discourage him as regards Environmental Science since that seems to be his most favored choice. Is the outlook good in E.S.? Should I encourage him to pursue E.S. even if the employment outlook is not as good? Anyone have an S or D in these majors who could share their experience?</p>
