Can anyone tell me how you're supposed to know whether you're in the Educational Opportunity Program at UCLA? And what are the benefits? Cuz i logged into other UC accounts online and they have info about the EOP program on my account homepage but UCLA doesn't.

Any help would be appreciated.

UCLA doesn’t have EOP. D=

They call it AAP, or as like to call it, EOP that won’t help you financially. (I was really down when I found that out, cause that’s where I really needed help.)

Really? That sucks. So what does EOP do for students in other UC’s then?

I think it probably varies from school to school, (read: you’re better off reading schools’ EOP websites…) but in the community college my brother went went and some CSUs that friends went to, EOP provides tutoring, counseling, and other support like PAYING FOR YOUR BOOKS (but I don’t know to what extent).

AAP basically does all that except the money part. Maybe that’s why they can’t call it EOP…
