EPGY to take advanced math senior year

I'm currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC as a sophmore in my high school. I'm scheduled to take Linear Algebra and Calc III next year as a junior. However, i run out of classes to take my senior year (usually the honors track at my school involves geometry->precalc->calc-> Calc III/Lin alg covering all four years, but a few students are enrolled a year ahead). I was wondering if it would be worth it to take a course online at EPGY so i don't have a year long gap in my math curriculum between junior year of high school and freshman year of college. Are there any people out there that have done this? Was it worth it to you? If you haven't, does this sound logical or is it just a waste of money?

I am in the same situation as you, and would love to hear any advice people have.

Other option that people have suggested to me is to take a course at a community college, which could be online as well.

aaannnnyyyone??

I’ll bump this thread for you

How the heck do you guys get so far ahead in math? Are you all at private school? I’m at a public school and I’m on the highest track possible, but I’m still behind you guys.

Freshman: Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors
Sophomore: AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics
Junior: AP Calculus BC
Senior: ???

Nope I go to a public highschool (9-12). My school has a pretty good math program which allows kids to take Linear Algebra and Calc III during their senior year but me and about 14 other kids from my middle school (which along with several other middle schools forms our high school with about 4000 kids) have been ahead ever since we took Algebra I in 6th grade instead of 7th.

Yeah…you should take Differential Equations (traditionally the course taken after MVC and LA). Maybe also an Analysis course if you wanna be an overachiever.
