does anyone have any experience with stanford's epgy online high school? i got an "invitation to apply," but i don't know if it's worth it..

the website can be found at: Stanford University

i've been reading around about the program, and it seems that it's geared towards homeschooled kids, but i go to a normal public school..

is this a bad idea for me?

thank you so much for any responses!

I know some public school students who have had very good experiences with epgy in the past. I will be taking two math courses myself this school year

would these be ap courses, or those beyond calculus bc (linear algebra, multivar calc, etc.)?

would you say that the online learning is a lot harder than learning the material at a community college?

thank you so much for your response!

Ive taken all of my schools math classes (ap calc bc, ap stats, calc 3 linear algebra) so im going to be taking differential equations and topology (not 100% sure on the latter)
I think classroom learning is easier but if youre motivated online can be just as effective.

thank you so much! hope you do well in your classes!

no problem. same to you!
which are you planning on taking?

i wasn’t sure yet; i really just wanted to see if it was a legitimate program for the future, since i’ve still got one year of school math left (calc bc) before i have to go to community college (or ohs) for another math class senior year.

that reminds me, i’ve never really figured out what comes after calc bc…? is it calculus iii (linear algebra/multivar calc)? …i’m so clueless here haha…

The next year is usually two out of three: differential equations, multivariable calculus (calc3), linear algebra. Calc 3 is the most common i believe

ok. thank you so much for your responses!
i’ll definitely take them into account when scheduling for courses senior year.

again, thank you so much!
