I took the may SAT and got into a few situations in which I erased an answer and put in a different one. I erased as fully as I could given the time constraints, but obviously there still was a tiny smudge on the wrong answer (though very faint in comparison to the other fully marked answer). Does anyone know if the machines can decipher this? or did anyone also erase answers on previous tests and know that it got the right answer?

I’m sure it’s fine if you erased it as completely as possible. I would have gotten many more questions wrong than I did last time if it deciphered an erased mark.

Thanks! yeah, I guess most people erase at least once so the machine should know how to deal with it
