I'm graduating high school in 3 months and i plan to go into Engineering as my major. I have 0 money and so far no scholarships. I was thinking about eReaders and how getting the ebook is often cheaper then the actual textbook. So it got me to thinking if i could do the same with my college text books. I know this question has been asked a million times on here here but every post i see people talk about the practicality of having the textbook over an eReader. For me that isn't an issue because i will be getting a NoteSlate so i will just write on that if i need to highlight or annotate. My questions is what is the availability of books on eReaders? I'm not worried about which eReader because i have program that will convert files to the format it requires but i am unsure of the availability of textbooks for eReaders. I know it usually depends on the college but in your experiences, do you schools offer a wide variety of textbooks and if so how do they usually price compared to the actual textbook.
