Errors in Essay

LOL, I was just reading my essay again and realized that I have two mechanical errors in it.

Will this make a big difference in admissions decisions?

I accidentally omitted the word "of" and wrong "have" instead of "has."

...............................................man I feel so stupid.

of course not

You can clearly see the errors too. And in a supplement, I also made an error in the opening sentence of a paragraph.

Wow..............................................................................I amaze myself.

Don't you mean wrote? ;) lol, don't worry about it though, everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure yours isn't the worst!

I just re-read my "why swarthmore" essay I found several mistakes (including a missing word that makes the entire sentence sound strange). I got in anyway. Everyone makes mistakes, and I'm sure colleges know that!

I forgot a "my" for my UPenn supplement (handed her (my) schedule) too! I think it's fine though because it's usually not the admissions officer who reads our essays who decides. I think someone takes notes on our essays and the adcoms read the notes.

Really? All my essays were impeccable!

C'mon... relax!

dude, i am sorry but u are gonna get rejected!

Don't worry...my friend wrote 'ass' instead of 'as'

We all got a good kick out of that, but he still ended up going to Columbia
