Errors on college essays..freaking out!

<p>I am re-reading the essays I submitted to top universities and I keep finding elementary errors.
EX: in my main common app essay: "It was the moment was when I entered the third grade..."
and in my UChicago essay: "Overall, the University of Chicago is an intellectual destination with global reach..."</p>

<p>It's like I left out words that completed the sentence or over-looked certian areas. I don't even want to look at all of my other essays. These are just 2 essays I happened to re-read and noticited these errors...</p>

<p>I know people say mistakes on essays don't matter but if I make numerous mistakes on multiple essays..is it really that easy to forgive?
To what extent does it become unforgivable?</p>

<p>Don’t worry. My daughter was just accepted EA to a reach school that she never dreamed she’d actually get into. Afterwards she re-read her essays and found a - gasp! - spelling error (wrote “counties” instead of “countries”). They either didn’t notice or didn’t care! Either way, it’s a good thing she didn’t notice her mistake before she got accepted… she probably would’ve gone into cardiac arrest!</p>
