<p>We'll find out tomorrow when the new app comes out. The advisor we met with said that there was talk of changing it, but he didn't know if it would be done this year. He recommended my son wait til after the 1st to write the essay though, just to be sure. Essay A is for sure staying the same.</p>
<p>Well, put your politically correct thinking hats on... Essay B is the same! Oh well, maybe by the time my youngest goes through they will have changed it!</p>
<p>I spoke with an admissions officer who said they were hoping to change it by next year because too many students misinterpret it in thinking it's a fictitious classmate, and they end up not saying anything about themselves. (That's how I interpreted it.) She said that actually what they are looking for is more info about the applicant.</p>
