Essay A question

It says "that felt like the end of the world". I have an essay about an experience that was disappointing, but it really wasn't the end of the world. Should I use it anyway or use Essay B?

Do whatever you feel is going to produce the essay that reveals the most of what you want MIT to know. Basically, go with the option that will make it easier for you to convey your personality and desires.

No, no, I already have an essay in which I describe my passion. I talk a bit about failure, and disappointments. However, I am not sure whether I should describe it as Essay A or B. Maybe it's not strong enough for A (because it's not the end of the world really)?

How have you handled it, guys? Have all of you experienced the end of the world, or what? Can't believe it...

How about - "it felt like the end of the world at the time, but of course, now I realize it wasn't..." and go from there?

Yes, I experienced the end of the world. It was terribly horrifying.
