<p>I think that would be alright, but like ninjaexe said, it all depends on how you approach the essay. Definitely find a better way to state it than "nerdiness is a good thing"; maybe write about the pride you feel as a bookworm, or how the social scale is meaningless to you compared to the scales of intelligence and success. Just remember that UChicago students are known for generally being kind of nerdy (no offense to anyone, I love 'nerdiness'), so if the only thing you have going for you in the essay is "nerdiness," I don't think that's enough.</p>
