I have a problem writing my essay for Georgia Tech. It seems that I need to write about a personal experience that affected me; however, I do not have any type of experience that could or will 'wow' the admission office. The only thing I can think of is when I got straight A's for the first time and when I got a science award for being top science student in my grade level (6th grade). What did you write about that helped you get into GT. Is it also possible to send in another essay that is a topic made by the student (custom topic)?

I'm glad to see that you're starting early.

Reflect back on what you've done in the past three years. Open your mind.

Don't "try" to find something that you think will "wow" the admissions officer.

Instead, find something that reflects you but isn't shown on your application.

Best of luck.
