<p>I'd like to know the answer to that, since I'm pro-choice and nearly discussed it in an essay before backing off, thinking it might get me the boot. :</p>
<p>Use common sense. Leave bipartisan material out of your essays.</p>
<p>Write about whatever you want. The more personal and thoughtful, as opposed to cookie-cutter and "I used the same essay for every school I applied to" that you can make it, the better.</p>
<p>I don't think it's a bad idea at all. Georgetown is big on being open-minded and accepting of people of every ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. If it's heartfelt and genuine, and you feel as though it clearly reveals your identity, then I would encourage you to submit it.</p>
