“i wud prefer a harvard alumnus”

No offense, but are you even a reasonable candidate for admission?

exultationsy…

dude, firstly, i don’t need to explain to you if i’m a reasonable candidate or not!
and secondly, i just cited my preference… but any other good reviewer would also suffice!!!
all i need is a critical review of my essays!

Don’t worry about your essays! I’m sure they’ll accept you for creativity!

You could do a few things to make it more likely that you’ll get the sort of reviewer you want. First, it would help if your posts used a more formal kind of English. Harvard-quality applicants, obviously, can and do use so informal English sometimes (see: my gchat logs, all of them), but people will take you more seriously if you don’t when you’re asking for an essay reviewer. Second, this is not the best forum on which to have made this request: I don’t know why you want a Harvard student or alum, but most of them don’t check this subforum, which is for my class year only. Try the larger Harvard forum, if you want, but I’d really recommend you going and posting this on the general business school forum. Even the general Harvard forum is for Harvard College, not University, so I, for one, have not the first idea what a business school admissions committee would be looking for in an applicant, and neither would most of the people here. Instead, the business people, including probably at least a couple from HBS, are on the business school forum.

What are those other forums? Or you mean the other forums here on CC?

Yeah, the other forums on CC. There might be a non-CC business-school forum somewhere, and spending a few minutes looking for it might be a good idea, but that’s not my area of expertise. (If I even have one to begin with!)
