<p>The application never mentioned labeling or titling essays, what did you guys do?</p>
<p>I'm not going to title any of mine--I don't think most people do (although there certainly isn't any problem with doing so).</p>
<p>I titled all of mine. Since there’s no title requirement, the schools probably will not penalize you for not titling your pieces, but titles show that you put a little extra thought into your piece and it makes the piece seem more like something you worked hard on for a long time instead of something you just threw together thoughtlessly.</p>
<p>I titled one of my essays, the other I didn’t. Only title if it works naturally, I would think that if you try to title something and its not catchy, it might seem repetitive or drab.</p>
