<p>For college essays, I heard its better to write about an event in ur life rather than lots of stuff.</p>

<p>I'm a new immigrant, so I want to write about my immigration. But its not like a single event ... series of events happened before I came here, during my fly to US and my present life in America.
So should I write about this? or should I choose another topic?
If I'm writing about my immigrant life, how do I write the question.
Can someone help me please ... I'm so confused. =(</p>

<p>I think its a good idea as long as you keep it very personal and detailed. no matter how common the topic you can have your own personal spin depending how you write it</p>
