For school of Arts and Science essay and the first essay(about diverse community or about me essay) did anyone go over a page....) mine is a page and a half for 2nd essay slightly over a page for 1st essay( 3 lines over)

WELL… i applied to SFS and was accepted and my school-specific essay was like a page and a half… but my other two essays were well below the limit (<150 words, <500 words). I think it depends on whether or not your writing is precise, and whether or not you are actually expanding upon new ideas, or just rambling…

the limits aren’t that strict, i don’t think, and you should be fine :)

My SFS essay was 600ish words, my activities 250 and my about me exactly 500 (from the Common App). I was accepted with these (although the acceptance may have been in spite of them lol)

I was accepted to the College. My essay 1 was 677 words and my school-specific one was 837. My activities one was 421. Even my special talents one was longer than it should be haha

bump!

I’m curious about this too - anyone else accepted for EA like to share how long their essays were?

I was accepted EA to the FLL in the College. My first essay was 613, my school-specific one was 600-ish, and my activies one was 150-200-ish.

I was accepted EA to SFS. My main essay was around 580 words and fit on one page, and my school specific essay was around 650, going over a page by a few lines. They don’t have any actual length requirements and just want around a page, so I think anything close to a page long is fine.
