<p>I submitted my essays on applytexas today and my application status has not changed and still says they have not received my essays. </p>
<p>Is the update not automatic, so in other words, I'm fine?</p>
<p>Found the answer. </p>
<p>In case anyone else has the same question:</p>
<p>“Submitted essays do not show up immediately. Electronic submissions can take a couple of days to appear in Status Check. Please check your status online a couple of days after submitting your essays, and then contact Admissions if you believe enough time has elapsed for your items to appear.”</p>
