Esther Updates-FAFSA, Mid-Yr Reports Rec'd?

<p>My son applied to Rice RD. All of his initial application docs and scores have been received according to Esther. The CSS Profile which was submitted to the College Board on January 7 has also been received per Esther.</p>

<p>The only two items that seem to be missing per Esther are:
* the FAFSA which was filed by me on January 6 and processed on January 10 and
* the Mid-Year Report which was mailed about two weeks ago. </p>

<p>According to FAFSA everything is OK on their end (I called them. They were very nice.). I emailed Rice about a week ago to ask if our stuff was just in the normal backlong. I haven't heard anything yet?</p>

<p>Are others experiencing similar situations?</p>

<p>They are probably slammed with paperwork and have not had a chance to update it yet. I would probably wait a week or so and then try contacting them again. The Mid-Year report was probably sent by the school and the FAFSA is already filed, so any delays are not in your control.</p>

<p>When I applied, a few years ago, it took them a while to have all my paperwork listed.</p>
