Yes, 2 eggs every morning at breakfast and for lunch I have lettuce wraps, either egg salad, or a tuna/egg salad combo. I am a creature of habit that doesn’t switch things up much.!
Geee Whiz QVC has nothing on CC! Those inventors need to open an CC account - I’ve started a list and my next paycheck will be gone before it hits the bank!
Wide side down! If I had more room in the fridge, I’d be eating more eggs! The dang fridge is too stuffed with berries, yogurt, and veggies.
I find my bamboo-handled “spider” handy for all sorts of kitchen tasks such as scooping things out of boiling water, rinsing a handful of berries, emptying a pot without losing the contents, or dumping out the nuts from the bottom of a jar and sifting off the salt and nut dust.
BB, I also really like Caudalie products.I used to treat myself to the body lotion every now and then and it might be time for a repeat. Heck, I’m buying just about everything else mentioned on this thread. Why stop now?! In fact, I’m thinking I ought to buy the sampler pack you mentioned.
Thanks to the poster who recommended the epicurean wood-look spatula. It arrived today as part of my on-going CC-gadget-of-the-day series.
Go for it, zipyourlips! The hand and nail cream smells like pomegranate…
THESE http://www.josephjoseph.com/en-us/category/kitchen-utensils are the BEST kitchen utensils and all of them have built inrests so they dont touch the counter when you put them down.
H and I have switched over to glass storage containers over plastic. We have a few mini Mason jars, but our favorite brand is Frigoverre. They’re around online, but I’ve always found them at Home Goods or Marshalls.
The glass is sturdy and never stains, the plastic lids are thick and supple and they never stain or crack at the edges even after years of use! Pyrex makes similar ones but they aren’t as good, especially the larger lids. Anchor makes really crappy lids.
Those built-in rest utensils look attractive and would go well with bright-colored Fiesta Ware dishes.
My Baby Foot was shipped today…I should prepare for its arrival by presoaking daily for 1 hour.
When I bought my JosephJoseph utensils (for me and for DS#1) they came in one color-- green handles. Wasnt my favorite but I love them so its ok.
Re: Baby Foot: Here’s my review. I did this in the early spring; I would definitely not do it in the summer or when you’d be wearing sandals. I soaked my feet first and wore the booties for longer than the instructions stated, based on reviews by others. I don’t recall exactly how long that was but maybe for about 50% longer. I continued to soak my feet almost daily. After about 5 days, I saw no change at all. Then at about 7 days I saw just the smallest amount of peeling; kind of like sunburn peeling, but only in a few small spots. I was about to write it off as a failure, but then after a couple of more days, it started REALLY peeling. It was kind of fascinating, in a disgusting sort of way. I don’t know what leprosy looks like, but I kind of imagine it like this. Once it was really peeling I would occasionally use a dry washcloth to slough away the dead skin. Once all the peeling is done my feet looked and felt amazing - very soft and looked great. That is the good part. The bad is that I didn’t feel like the effects last long enough to make it worth the cost and the time when your feet look horrible. I don’t think I would buy it again.
On another topic - a product that I LOVE is Dawn Power Dissolver. It works great on baked-on pots and pans but I’ve also found that it take stains - even grease stains - out of laundry. I use it like I would use Shout. I have even had success on stains that I thought were set in. Unfortunately, this is no longer sold in stores. But I found that Amazon sells it for commercial use.

It is pricey for one 32 oz bottle (around $30) but a case of six 32 oz bottles is $70. I bought the case and figure that I’m set for a while.
Wrinkle Release by Downy. Haven’t needed to do much ironing since I discovered it. Whew.
Oh, good to know! Mr. B says I am allergic to wrinkles. Wrinkled garments drive me insane, but I hate to iron things. So my Jiffy steamer was a godsend - I rarely use the iron these days, because the steamer even presses slacks nicely.
Ooh I love Wrinkle release!!
And I had eggs for breakfast. “It” worked fine.
The other “it” arrived yesterday. I hope my windows are looking clean and streak free soon.
I was in a CVS store yesterday and they had the Car Cane.
I bought Wrinkle Release for my S when he went to college. Why didn’t I buy it for myself?
Someone gave me this strawberry huller and I love it. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/chefn-strawberry-huller/s607943
One of the other things that gave me a eureka moment was cooking tongs that can lock closed. I like these because you just flick your wrist a little and the loop comes down. One handed. I got rid of my old ones that lay open. http://lingatour.com/16-fascinating-small-kitchen-tongs-digital-photograph-ideas_p8791/unique-kitchen-gadgets-tongs
You do not need Wrinkle Release or even a steamer. Anyone remember Heloise? I saw her on a show back in the early 80’s and she used a spray water bottle to spray a fine mist on wrinkled clothes and voila! The wrinkles disappear. If they’re deepish wrinkles, you then smooth down the fabric with your hand (this is all best done with the item hanging up). If the wrinkles are REALLY set it, you can dampen the wrinkled area more, then pull out the wrinkle with your hands, then smooth, repeating if necessary. We actually bring a small spray bottle with us when we travel to use this method on our travel clothes. The only thing this method doesn’t do it make sharp creases you might need for some dress clothes.

LOL!
I have the locking cooking tongs and love them! Who has a clothes steamer that works well- brand and price- I don’t know if I missed it?
