Thanks

SAT scores would be helpful, y is ACT so low, EC are AMAZING, kinda need SAT scores for evaluation, other than that I would say if ure SAT scores are higher than ure SAT u have a great chnce at any of them EA or ED, and a decent chence RD

Please very strict when evaluating. I can face the truth.

yea we cant really determine your chances without ur SAT scores because your ACT is so low

I will take the new SAT in march

please any more replies?

sorry your GPA is average and ur ECs are great, but we cant really determine until you've taken your SATs

How do you take 8 (or 12!) AP classes in one year? There are not enough periods in the school day, much less anytime for phys. ed, lunch, etc...

he probably means that he will have taken 8 ap exams by the end of this year and 12 by the end of senior year

yeah diablo2fan in right. I'm taking most of them as self study

I also forgot- my poetry was piblished on the yearly anthology piblished by the American Poetry Society. Only works of highly experienced poets are published.

obviously no one is responding, its really really hard to even guess w/o SAT scores, aanything we say is probably not going to be accurate

Do well on the AP Exams.

Hmm...2000 hours of community service at those places? Thats about 19 hours per week every week of the year, which is extraordinary.

Your extracurricular involvement and high school coursework are great! just work on your ACT/SAT score. I would take both tests and have my high school send whichever one is higher. good luck!

Ya, I would agree. Get 1550 or above on the SAT, some really good SAT II scores, and retake the ACT, and you should definitely be able to get in to one of those three.

thanks for the encouragement!

any more replies, please?

A couple of changes occurred since my last post:
1. My rank went up to 1/526 (i changed schools)
2. i am taking 6 (instead of 8) aps this year.
3. i finally completed 3000 hours of community service
4.i got published by tcr.
5. I was accepted to Florida Boy's State.

more replies are welcomed!! As many at cc know, i write crappy personal essays. this is a major weak-point of mine.

your community service is kinda crazy...assuming you did it every day the same amount of time, you'd have to do 3 hours a day...assuming you don't have a social life or play any sports or partake in any clubs, it would be believable...but you list a lot of different clubs you partake in...and on top of that you're taking lots of APs and in the top of your class, so you must need to do a lot of homework every night...there simply isn't enough time..

posts like this make me sad...it's high school, enjoy it!
