I applied for Georgetown University EA for 2017 Fall. I had three recommenders for the College: an English Teacher (My intended major), A history teacher, and an internship mentor. The quality of them should all be pretty strong. However my english teacher lives very far away from me. She informed me she took it upon herself to fill out my evaluation form and everything, but I don't understand how she had the form waived by me and signed. Georgetown never contacted me about this issue as they said they would if it was an issue. What could be going on here? I am somewhat panicking because it never hit me until now. I don't want to be deferred because of something like this.

The good news is Georgetown is only going to look at one of them, so…

Thanks replying… So does that mean that they aren’t going to look at my other recommendations? And the English teacher is the one who I’m worried about because she is my major and I didn’t sign the waiver for her she just sent it out filled out with “my info”. Will the problem, if there is one (she hasn’t told me yet what occurred when she sent them out), hurt me for admission in early action? I’m extremely stressed right now.

I’m not sure how true it is that they will only look at one of them

They ask for one. Give them three and they just have more to choose from.
