evaluation

I'm sure this has become tiresome, but if anyone has any advice or something along those lines, it'd be most appreciated.

I attend amherst college. basically i find it small, insular, limiting in breadth and depth. additionally, the town is depressingly small and lacking in cultural offerings, the students seem to be below par, and in general, im just not enjoying myself. i want to apply to a large university that offers more opportunities (linguistics, business, and mideival studies, for example, were areas that I had wanted to pursue, neither of which are offered at Amherst). Im planning on stanford, harvard, yale, chicago, columbia (probably my #1), and brown.

my stats:

1520 sat
740, 750, 780 on sat ii's
~93ish highschool average from a highly competetive ib school
39 on my ib
4.0 after my first term (im applying as a sophmore transfer) with an a, a, a, and a+
extra curiculars: radio station business manager and dj, tutoring program, mentoring program, internship with securities firm over 5 month winter break, school newspaper, student democrats, jazz band, blah blah blah

if there are any other factors that would be helpful, id be happy to supply them. thanks.

those are some nice stats. just write killer essays and get good rec's and you should be in the most competitive group of transfer applicants.

thank you for the comment.
