anyone kind enough to evaluate my chances?

high school: 93 average, 39 on ib, very rigorous well-respected program
sat: 800V, 720M,
satii: 740, 760, 770

college: i'm currently a freshman at one of amherst, williams, and swarthmore; i have a 4.0 average with 3 a's and one a+

strong/persuasive/compelling essays

great teacher rec's that should corroborate and round out my essays
(when speaking to my english professor re: a letter of recommendation, he said that he would put me into contact with some of the people at harvard, yale, and colubmia whom he knew - this comment seems indicative to me of the strength of his letter)

extra curriculars (from highschool and college): business manager for radio station, mentor with a volunteer program, jazz band, college democrats, newspaper, etc.

interned with an investment bank durring january

oh yeah, the schools i want to attend (primarilly out of an interest in medieval studies and secondly out of an interest in literary theory and lingusitics, none of which are offered at my current college):
harvard
yale
columbia
stanford
dartmouth
brown
chicago

I'd say you're competitive for all of those schools.

Best of luck :)

why don't you just say which one you're at? What could you possibly gain by not disclosing which of those LACs you go to?

because i think some of the kids who know me at school also ocassionally browse (or at least used to) this site. i know it seems ridiculous, but a) it seem's unecessary to potentially have to go through the awkward situation of telling friends that I want to leave, and b) for the purposes of evaluation, i that the differences between the three are negligible

lol, that is weird.
