Ever heard of JSHS?? <-- science comp.

What's the importance of Junior Science Health Symposis? It's not big like the intel fair, but its format is different. Instead of making a backboard, you give a powerpoint presentation. I make it to regionals, and was invited to present, I'm not sure I will because I think I should spend time working on this year's intel project (entered JSHS w/ last years crappy "there is a god" made it to Intel project). Should I just do it and go for it?

depending on where you live this comp isnt as competitive as other fairs like intel which makes it pretty easy to get to the national competition. For me, there wasn't tough competittion and I got a bid to nationals, so it could be worth it. Why didn't you enter the same project for both?

well...i'm in the kentucky region, and the comp's pretty hard (kentucky's usually not that great, but there is a magnet school in my area that consistently wins. One girl that's competing got 3rd in intel, seimen's and intel semi, and got into harvard ea <--- genius). I couldn't use the same project because I used that one for intel last year. I'm always a year behind in competitions because of my procrastination
