just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the process for being selected to present at regionals is like? Also, what kind of questions do they ask you at the screening sessions?
Appreciate all your help.

its sort of like normal science fair...then when you present you basically go on stage and explain you project withe aid of a PowerPoint. Then there is a Q&A session.

thank you for your help! do you know the kinds of questions they ask? Are they difficult? most science fairs i've gone to, the judges barely asked any questions, unless it was for clarification or something. maybe they were stupid? :)

I guess it depends on your project..like if your project is Bio and a Physicist is looking at ur project he/she might not have too many questions to ask... Mostly they don't ask difficult questions but be prepared and know everything about your area...For me mostly they were just impressed...like "wow" you did all this as a freshman...so yeah.

Just wondering what's your project on?

mines on inorganic chem. you did this as a freshman? i tried to get my teachers to do it last year, but they're fools so they didn't register our school on time.
what state are you from?

Yeah bioinformatics research in freshman year...although it was only a presentation, it was too late for competitions and my teacher also forget to register for JSHS even though she kept advertising for it so much lol. This year though I 'm gonna do ISEF nad JSHS...are you doing ISEF as well?

Oh yeah from NJ..
