Its been really depressing reading how so many people are unhappy in their first year! Is anyone loving it? I hope so...

I'm happy! But this is my second year... Well I was happy last year too.

But I'm sad now because I overslept for work :(

most of the students who are happy are probably way too busy to post about how happy they are!

I'm happy. I'm making friends, my classes are going fairly well, my RA as well as everyone in my dorm are awesome. I'm comfortable here. UNH has turned out to be far better than the (rather low) expectations I came in with. When I chose UNH, it was because it was where I felt most comfortable, but I won't lie: I was a little scared because of its party school repuation, the size, etc. But I've found that my dorm is filled with people like me, the party scene is super easy to avoid, and my classes aren't nearly as hard or big as I thought they would be. I know I made the right choice to come here. I knew it from orientation, and again the day I moved in. I can't believe how fast my time here is going. The fact that Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away just seems amazing. I've been home several times since I got here, but it's not because I hate it here. I'm really close to my family and do occasionally get homesick, because I miss THEM. I don't miss home too much though. My school now feels like home. So yes, I'm happy here.

raises hand

I'm happy!!! It took me a few weeks to settle in, but now I can't imagine myself anywhere else. I don't think I'm going to want to leave in four years. :/

Take 12 credits per semester and you may not have to leave in 4 years :)

also insanely happy. But, just plain insane come exam time.

my daughter's loving her first year

(and yes she is too busy too post!) ;)

lol I would stay longer but I would end up in quite the financial bind in that case. :P

hehe im loving school and im gonna be here for 6 years. go pharmacy!

Do you go to Cornell?

I'm very happy.

I am so unbelievable happy here at BYU! Before I came out here I was really hesitant because of some of the strict things I had heard about this school, but it has turned out better than I could possibly have hoped. My roommates are the funnest, craziest, and most hilarious people I have ever met. My classes are incredibly interesting and challenging. I've learned more than I ever thought I could learn. Also, the scenery is absolutely beautiful with the mountains and blue skies and flowers and everything! What can I say? I simply love it here!!! I just know that I couldn't be happier anywhere else!

Im happy! It took a while to get that way...had to get into the swing of things around here, but now its great! Job, softball, classes (insane amount of studying) and friends...its turned out great!! The campus is so nice to, even though theres a lot of issues in Berkeley, its worth it! GO CAL!!! :-D Best wishes to all yall out there still getting settled!

if we put all our heart on study or work
we will feel happy

My son is a Freshman at Tufts University just outside of Boston. He loves every aspect of the school from it's fantastic location to the great on-campus food. He has met tons of friends, is doing great in his classes, and is rowing on the Novice Crew team. Has had the opportunity to attend William & Mary and Cornell, but is thrilled that he made the decision to attend Tufts!

I don't know what I am. I'm not exactly sad or happy. Just kinda like 'eh whatever'.

I haven't been happy since I was a child, but I'm surviving.
