Everything About APs, Please Someone Answer

Can someone just tell me if AP review books (Princeton, Barron, etc.) are good enough for the actual exam? -_-

AP exams are in May. I don’t see what the urgency is here that warrants you posting the same thread twice in a 30 minute radius. Take it easy. With all that said and done, I have found Barron’s is extremely useful, not only for the actual AP exam, but for class tests that are based on the AP exam format. I have the Barron’s AP Art History and it has been an immense asset to me. I also have Barron’s AP US Government, 5 Steps to a 5 for AP Literature, Hostage, Mueller, and Zipp’s AP Chemistry practice workbook, and Princeton Review AP Economics, but I don’t use those anywhere as much as my APAH book. I’ll let you know how useful these books are when I’m studying for the exams soon.

Last year, I had an AP Biology practice book that I rarely used; I watched a pretty comprehensive review video a few times in the days leading up to the exam and got a 5. There are also Psychology I and II books by REA that are very small, but very concise, and have basically everything you need for the AP Psychology exam.

Don’t procrastinate; so if you use those books and are self- studying the exam, should one be good enough to get a 5 on the exam?

How about self studying AP CSP and Comparative Gov? any specific books/websites /anything?

I can’t say I’ve had the experience of self-studying for an exam before, as in using a review book to actually teach myself a subject from the ground up rather than simply reinforcing what I’ve already learned, but I’m sure if you read an entire review book on a given test diligently and complete all of the practice exercises, you should be at least able to obtain a passing score on an exam, and honestly, even a 5 could be attainable.

There are also a bounty of free resources on the internet (videos, review packets, flashcards) that you can use to supplement a review book in the event that you need additional help while self-studying. I’ve found videos are especially helpful in math and sciences, as you can see problems being done in real time.

Thanks!

Just goes to show you corrupted this site really is… ( ._.)
