Exactly 1 month, EDers

Hey all you fellow ed-ers. only one month left until we find out. good luck to all of us! hopefully this month will go by quickly

The days don't seem to be flying by. Is this nerve wracking for anyone else?

I'm trying not to think about it too much. Fortunately, I've been busy enough with my senior year so my mind has been on it. I just filled out some online apps in case the unspeakable happens...

But that won't happen because I'm too cool:D
(At least I'd like to think so)

i'm trying not to think about it. last year they found out on december 8th, hopefully they do that this year because if i get a rejection the friday before winter break i'm gonna be ****ed (and extremely depressed). but i'm trying not to think that way. for once in my life i'm trying to be overly optimistic despite the odds. go me!

dont worry, i too am going out of mind, you have no idea.
but it is senior year, and its only going to be as good as we make it. hopefully, we wont let the wait and a potential rejection letter ruin that for us. if you guys dont get in, where else are you applying?
and cowtipper, i say thats the right attitude, so kudos.

Ha. I think I am going crazy too. Pretty intense.

aww you guys are so awesome i hope you all get in!

I hope they come in early in December... I'm going on vacation mid-December, so I'll need to start other applications even before getting my reply from Dartmouth!

Yes; last year they found out on the 8th and I believe the year before it was the 9th. Hopefully we'll hear sometime around then as well.

I guess I'm in the minority when I say time seems to have flown by - it's already been 17 days since the ED deadline; And if it's November 17 today, and decisions may come out as early as December 8... well, folks, that's not too far away! Best of luck to everyone, of course.

isnt it nov 17 ??

lol

Crap, it is. I was looking at the 2004 calendar (for the love of God, don't ask me why!)

yeah, i sent in two other applications just in case the unspeakable happens (excuse my the melodramatics). lol
and hairdressonfire, i guess you are right. the days are going fast, i think just the business of everyone's schedules makes it seem like the days are dragging on.

I'm sure they'll start seeming longer and longer once the deadline gets nearer - the first week or so of December will probably go very, very slowly. Which is bad because I have a MUN conference the 7th through the 10th!

But, on the bright side, December 15th's alot better than April 1st.

wow looks like you guys are just worried as i am ..... well i can't the date out of my mind.... I can't concentrate on preparing my backup apps.... and then there is always the fear of the worst that keeps haunting me....
so are all the decisions gonna be out by 8-9 December ? ..... well the sooner the better.... i am just keeping my fingers crossed.....

aww, its like we formed our own support group. what would our title be? any ideas? lol

<a href="http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcounter.html?month=12&day=15&year=2006&hour=14&min=0&sec=0&p0=419%5B/url%5D">http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcounter.html?month=12&day=15&year=2006&hour=14&min=0&sec=0&p0=419</a></p>

^wow that's really depressing. i'm hoping the decisions are on the 8th or the 9th. actually, i lost my userID for the student information system when my computer's memory was cleared w/o my permission by the Geek Squad guy, so i have to contact the admission's office. i think i'm gonna wait a week or so, just to make sure that the fact that i'm an idiot when it comes to common sense things doesn't impact their decision. lol

I check that status account on the Dartmouth site twice a day..:-S....just in case they decide they desperately want me and announce me 20 days earlier about the "accepted" result...Yeah riiight! How I like to dream! But seriously.. isn't Dartmouth GREAT?!
