Exactly 2 weeks away, any chance of decisions coming earlier?

Anyone know

They always seem to come out a few hours early at least, due to all of FSU’s systems updating normally between 5-6pm instead of midnight.

Aside from that, whether FSU changes the release date to be earlier, no one knows until it happens. I don’t think it’s likely this year unless something goofs in the system. The SSAR addition this year seems to have been problematic and probably slowed down a number of admissions decisions, so I doubt all of them would be available before the actual decision date.

They usually announce it as a “surprise” a couple days early. If I’m not mistaken, the past couple years they’ve announced it around the 12th/13th. Let’s cross our fingers!

P.s. I have a suspicion that FSU winning the national championship last year may have led to a spike in applicants…Just a suspicion.

That’s what I figured but last year during the application time the football team was even better than it is now

I believe everyone who is going to apply to FSU by proxy of winning a national championship most likely haven’t done it via early admission. However, to your question I have heard from my cuz. who graduated last year when she found out it was realized a couple hours earlier then planned. I also have heard some years there is a way to find it out before they officially release it. If anyone has any answers on that then that would be great!

I have read on other sites you can go to the payments page. If they are requesting a deposit then you would have gotten in. From my understanding this will only appear just days prior to the decision date.

the night before the decision was due last year we logged onto the application status and the fireworks show popped up with congratulations. Good luck to everyone, it is an awesome school!

The guest payments link didn’t work. Says its down for maintenance. Looks like we just have to wait a little bit longer.
