I applied to UCF in November and got deferred in January. There have been no recent updates, but I received an email telling me to apply for the Excel program at the school. Maybe the application status has not updated yet?
My DD received the same email, and she is still in processing as well (she applied a month ago). I think it was auto generated, as we received an Excel post card as well.
