Exclusive MATH CLUB

Add your name to the list if you have the following:
800 on SAT Math
800 on SAT II Math IIC
5 on BC Calculus, and 5 ab subscore

guardiandevil423

Why are you doing this?

To feel superior.

I didn't take the AP, but I got 7 on IB Math HL and 7 on IB Further Math.

Plus the SAT 800s.

So there.

Think Different. THats great, that works too.

So, 800 MAth 2, 800 SAT I Math, and either 5 on calc bc or 7 on the Ibs.

Hmmm, though I only took Calc AB b/c that's all that's offered, but yea every thing else seems to be matching up.

well lets make it 5 on either AB or BC and 7 on either of the IBs, it dont really matter cuz the 800s say it all!

This "club" won't be very exclusive. There are probably thousands of students each year who accomplish this feat.

80 PSAT Math, 800 SAT Math (twice), 800 SAT II Math IIC, 36 ACT Math, 5 AP Calculus BC, 800 GRE Math

...lol. (10 char)

The 800s really say the least of any of these criteria, guardiandevil. The SAT II Math IIc is miles easier than the AP or IB exam. The SAT I Math has little to do with actual mathematical knowledge; it's 70% reasoning ability and 30% SAT-taking ability. Really, none of these criteria are particularly exclusive.

guardiandevil, there are better ways to boost your self confidence.

i like the 2400 club better...there's an accomplishment.

I like the Smart People club better, where only smart people can join.

Hey, I'm a smart people. Can I join?

"Hey, I'm a smart people. Can I join?"

if you're so smart, why do you suck at grammars?

...a smart people. yes you are. want a cookie?

I is great on grammor, buT I believes that oozing good grammor always will being too conformist. Me prefers me own ways but I'm still a smart people.

conformist...i guess that's one way of looking at it. :-/

i just call it wrong.

Suiting yourselve.

How do you plan on compensating for the fact that both the AP tests and that SATs are hevily scaled? Say, for example, someone may be better at calculus than you. However, this person took the AP test on a different year when the competition was far more tough than the year you took it (the average number of correct responses from students around the nation was higher than when you took it), and therefore they recieved a 4, whereas you still recieved a 5. Same thing with the SATs. And remember that the SAT 1 math test is not meant to test mathematical knowledge but rather simple reasoning and logic skills, and therefore the SAT II's would be far better for your purposes.

Boy, for such an intelliget person as yourself, you sure do lack basic reasoning skills.
