Excuses

So maybe I'm subconciously preparing myself for bad news on Thursday, but I'm starting to think of reasons why prep school might not work for me! One thing I can't help but wonder is how am I could possibly play a sport every season when I play "my" sport year round through a club, something I will continue in HS no matter where I go.

AOs asked me about this "What other sports do you like?" I "like" other sports but am no where near as competitive if I do try them here or there since I've been playing one sport almost exclusively since I was little.

How can I continue playing for the club during off seasons, continue playing an instrument, and add another sport since the schools want us to play something for them every season AND get my school work done? Is this just me cushioning the blow so on Thursday I can tell myself that it wouldn't have worked anyway?

I’m worrying about the same thing because I play volleyball year round and it’s basically my only sport. I asked the coach from one of the schools I’m applying to, and he said that it’s possible to play your sport year round if there are any surrounding clubs, but it would be a hassle.
After Thursday, you should contact schools you were accepted to and mention any concerns you have.

I got rejected today…
