I noticed a lot of people who were accepted/waitlisted were not complete financial aid. This might show how much it counted. People who posted said they paid. (I'm not sure about some others.) Congratulations for those who did get in!

s waitlisted.

applied for financial aid.
accepted. :D

applied for FA

congrats! Hope you get off the waitlist

applied for FA....waitlisted :(

applied for fa and accepted :) idk if i got it yet though lol i havent recieved my envelope

YAY!! to ExAnd

have any of you heard from deerfield?

If you got accepted you'll get aid in line with your EFC from the schools like Exeter that meet full need.

Are you sure? If they accepted me I'm guaranteed the FA...because SPS has the whole free tuition thing. I just assumed everyone dropped all that after the economy went down.

i think they did drop that.

hmom5, could you explain?

They did not drop their aid policies. Everyone accepted in this round will get aid based on their need per the schools' stated policies. So if it's a free ride under income of $75K plus allowed assets, and you qualify, you will get the free ride.

Keep in mind this is only for schools that meet 100% of need.

What has changed is the number they were able to accept with aid, not the amount you'll get.

Wow ...the more I hear the more I wonder how the hell I got into SPS. The acceptance rate is some ridiculous number. Plus I'm FA..There had to have been some fighting in that committee room about many students.

I applied for FA, and I was waitlisted.

Applied for FA and accepted. Have not seen details yet, but I will say that Exeter has been quite lovely and patient in dealing with our crazy financial situation.

applied for FA and accepted. :)
