I am so happy that I am confused now.

which school is paying for you to go visit them? I recall you mention that a school was paying your fare to go see them. what other schools are you considering?

that would depend on which program you think you would benefit most from .
exeter, from what i've heard , places a lot of weight on harkness , while andover only uses it in some classes .
exeter is known for their math dept , while andover is known for physics and humanities .
it all kinda depends.
go to the revisits and figure out which one you like better .

I got in. Unfortunately not nearly as much FA as with Andover, but that can be helped.

Congratulations Tom! Will you be attending Exeter or Andover?

does anyone know how many students are accepted into the freshman class for Exeter/?

I hope Exeter. I got a lot less FA, though, so I'm probably going to have to work over the summer/at school to pay for it if I so decide. My condolences, Chaos. I'm not quite sure why you didn't get in.

Congratulations tommesister and blairt and everyone else who got in!

exeter has AMAZING humanities electives - seriosuly. they just have an erdy image. exeter has some AMAZINZGFYGFduajgevd classes. "Why are poor nations poor" was one I need to take. My grandfather wrote a book on that and he never got to explain it all to me before he became too ill/... and "rebels and revolt" or something for the french dpt. is amazing.. seriously.. they have a france study abroad program.. maybe I can go before enterin in 07? can you do that?

chaos - you got my message.

anyway, that equation just illustrates your genius. seriously - i don't give compliments out often.

blairt, I strongly believe the reason you got rejected at some of the other schools was because they aren't the top ones like Exeter, and they knew you would most likely get in at schools like Exeter and Andover.

Congratulations... =]

Thank you blair. I am flattered. :D I am not quite sure how to respond to all these messages. Thank you all, very, very much.

my acceptance from exeter finally made it today! my dad says the fa is almost exactly the same as andover...so now i have to choose. i think andover though it is a hard choice!

congrats kristina !

Congratulations! Hope to see you at Exeter!

actually, you know what???? I just dawned upon a thought.

my karate teacher sent a rec that said, at the end, "If you do not have the (talent) to accomodate this student, please do not accept her.. (she only deserves the absolute best/something along those lines)"

maybe they knew i was going to be accepted at exeter? i didn't tell choate or taft that i was applying anywhere else.

Haha. Nice rec!

yeah i know she let me read it..i was so grateful.

you think the schools may have felt..idk? like i was immediately going to go to exeter/andover? what really shocked me was choate. seriously, i was everything they were looking for... i know that sounds conceited, but i was just so convinced.. the interview was luhfdjl OUTSTANDING and the self-assesment, i think, demonstrated my maturity and understanding.. hmm.. GO EXETERR! man i could die right now. i'm going to go show my teacher/mother at work;wjnedewfwf AHHH

... i am sad...

Admissions=strange. Be thankful for what you've got, blair! :)

Sorry, dan. :(
