Expanded Brown Information on Website

I just logged into the application status website (you know what Im taking about? The link from the email), and the options are much expanded from the last time I logged in a day or so ago. Theres now a financial aid link and a personal info link. Under student there are a lot more options as well.

Its actually pretty neat…you can look at classes they offer and at what times, etc.

Just as a heads up to everyone, its cool to explore. (Maybe it means I got admitted! hah, if only)

Yeah, I got the same thing. I hope it means we got in! That would be awesome

Ahh! Thats so cool, mine is expanded too!

Hey, by the way, is it true that they're only gonna start looking at apps on Dec. 1st?

My interviewer told me that they do the 1st reading when they receive your whole app but Dec 1st onwards, you're app is presented to the committee and voted

I heard that 2 admission officiers will read the application and grade it from 0 to 6..

Then, the application is voted by the admission committe to decide whether the applicant can be admitted or not...

Therefore, I don't know which step is more decisive?the grading one or the voting one?

Besides, will the interviewer finally know if the applicant will be admitted or not?

Ahhhh you guys! I'M SO NERVOUS! :P

my interviewer told me he does find out

Question: If i submit an updated copy of my report card before Dec. 1st will it get considered ?

Will the interviewer find the admission decision earlier than applicant?

To ILurveBrown: I think they will take the updated version into consideration..They say Brown start to read applications on 1st Dec..

*BASICALLY: when is the earliest time to know their decision if we've gotten this expansion already? *

Dec 11th, 5pm EST

YOU'RE KIDDING ME. THAT IS SO ****ING AMAZING YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

well **** you, harvard, with youre ~we shall commence the decision letter dispatch around april~.

Brown <3

uuummm, this was going to violaina's post, which is underneath this one, for some strange reason

To be honest, I don't think that expanded version means anything....

If you apply RD, you have to wait for 5 months, patiently...unless you receive a likely letter in Feb or March...

Anyway, good luck.

I don't have an expanded version yet:(. Is this because some of my teacher recs came in later (they were mailed), or did you submit your applications before Oct. 31...

Yes, I submitted my application in Mid-Oct..I apply ED. Do u apply ED?

Not having that expanded version will not hurt you. I think whether or not one person has that is related to if he applies financial aid.

Do you apply fin aid?

Yea I applied ED.

Since I applied financial aid, I have that expanded version.

If my guess is right, you don't apply aid?

but we (RD applicants) can't add anything to this, right? I mean, all the fin aid stuff is for this/last year, not the one we're applying for!

Yes.. I can't make changes in the fiancial aid information, either. It is not for the applicants.
