Expelled from college, do I have a chance to go to USA?

Hello everyone, I am a student in an eurasian country, actually I was a student. I was studying at my local college when after the first semester of my first year I was expelled, not because of academics, but due to some behaviour problems. So, I have been thinking about my options to continue my studies but I cannot apply again to colleges in my country and cannot afford any other colleges abroad (I was on a full scholarship at my local college). I took the SAT and got 1970, I graduated from my High school with 4.0 GPA, but I have no achievements to show in extracurriculars except for some minor sport diplomas. I am thinking of applying to US colleges, particularly to high-level ones that can give me a financial aid. Please do not think that I am crazy or unrealistic about my chances for ivies of other top colleges, I am going to do my best for my application till the deadlines and try to improve my scores. So my question is, do I have a chance of getting an admittance from top US colleges after I have been expelled?

look to Canada

Start by reading through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://educationusa.state.gov/) Then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center closest to where you live. They will be able to tell you where students like you have been accepted in recent years, and whether or not they received the amount of financial aid that you would need. They also may be able to advise you about the best way to handle your previous college experience. Please know that if you were expelled for criminal activity, it is not likely that you would be able to get a student visa to study in the US.
