<p>Is anyone a current or former drama student who can tell of some experiences they had in the program? What should a future applicant and aspiring drama student know?

<p>Are you looking for info on the general theater scene @ Yale? Or are you inquiring about the theater studies major? Many theater people in the active Yale theater community do NOT major actual Theater Studies.</p>

<p>Yale doesn’t offer an undergraduate Drama major. You can take classes (with permission) at the Yale School of Drama but not any of the acting classes I believe.</p>

<p>That Yale provides an excellent liberal arts education, but not a structured preprofessional program for actors.</p>
