Is anyone a current or former drama student who can tell of some experiences they had in the program? What should a future applicant and aspiring drama student know?
Thanks!

Are you looking for info on the general theater scene @ Yale? Or are you inquiring about the theater studies major? Many theater people in the active Yale theater community do NOT major actual Theater Studies.

Yale doesn’t offer an undergraduate Drama major. You can take classes (with permission) at the Yale School of Drama but not any of the acting classes I believe.

I truly apologize! I was wondering about the theater studies major! I’m so sorry to confuse you! @T26E4 @keesh17

Here is a 2012 piece about the program:

That Yale provides an excellent liberal arts education, but not a structured preprofessional program for actors.
