Can someone explain to me what this is?
I know it's a section on the SAT that is not counted towards your score.

So does that mean if I leave that whole section blank, nothing will happen to me -- of course, I would first need to know which section is experimental.
That leads to my next question, how do you know which section is experimental?

Btw, I'm taking SATs for first time tomorrow, err, today and I would like to know within...four hours?!?!

THANK YOUUUUU!

you will NEVER know which is the section. you will only know if it's maths or CR, but never which particular one. if you shoot correctly, yes leaving the whole part out will not affect your score.

you answered your own question. :)

Oh, so there's the essay (1), two writing sections (3), three Critical Reading sections (6), and three math sections (9). And then if there's a fourth CR/M section, one of the four sections is experimental? And this experimental can never be a third writing section?
