Experimental sections

Are the dummy sections easy to recognize now? I mean, are they new sat sections?

Not really. I did notice that my experimental this November was weird somehow - I had questions in Critical Reading that said I, II only, or I and II etc, and that’s not really common. Other than that, my experimental section was perfectly normal.

Experimental sections are easier to recognize now because they should have the format of the new SAT. If you are familiar with the structure of the current SAT sections then you should be able to figure out very quickly that a section is experimental. Also if you’ve taken the 2015 PSAT and see sections on the real SAT that have the same format as those on the PSAT then it’s probably experimental.

Ok. Thanks!
