Extra Curriculars - Enough? and Tips?

Hey everyone!

I'm currently a sophomore and it's my dream to go to UPenn. Over the last 1 1/2 ish years I've invested myself greatly in my extra curricular activities, garnering me a long list of activities that I'm both actively involved in and passionate about... but are these enough, or nothing special? I just don't know if the stuff I'm doing is too generic/insignificant. Thoughts?

Class Vice President: 10, elections for next year in May
Model UN: 9,10, recently elected future President for grades 11 and 12
Key Club Community Service: 9,10, will continue
Photography Club: 9,10, will continue
Active participant in the drama department: 9, 10, will continue
Active participant in costume/makeup for drama department: co-director of costumes 10
A Capella Group: 10, will continue
Freshman Peer Mentor: 10, will continue
Student Mentor (a well known program at my school, requires an application/interview and rigorous training): 10, will continue
Yearbook: 10 (bumped up to junior editor second semester, editor grades 11 and 12)

Thanks for your help!

Honestly, that sounds like a laundry list of extracurriculars used to fill a resume. Just do what you are interested, I can’t imagine that you can devote a significant amount of time to any of these activities being that there are so many.

If you are passionate about these activities you should continue to pursue them. Try not to worry so much about the list being “special” or “ordinary”.I don’t actually think that list is so extensive; I’ve interviewed students with many more and far fewer. It’s what you DO with the activities that will make the difference. It seems to me that you are taking on more and more responsibility - keep that up!

Only once did I interview a student who had so many activities I actually wondered how that student had time for it all. Your list is nothing like that list.
