Extra English for Haas

Hi, I am concerned about which course I should take for extra english at Haas. I was told that they are being stricter this year about courses that fit the requirement (i.e. the course needs to analyze texts). I also want to take a course that can double as an L&S breadth for arts & humanities or history. Needless to say, I would prefer a course that would help my GPA and not hurt it. Do you have any recommendations?

Here are a few that I am thinking about:
English 45B
Classics 17A
Classics 10A
Asian Am 10A
Scandinavian R5B (5 person waitlist, 17 students max)

I'm not sure which of these fit or don't fit the req. So, again, if you know of any easy english-y courses, please let me know!! Actually, I would prefer if they aren't in the English or Comp Lit departments - no offense to anyone, but English isn't exactly my strength. Thanks, I would appreciate any input.

the difficulty of the english courses usually depend more on the professor who teaches it, though some courses are inherently more difficult (due to the course readings required).
