Extra Peer Evaluation??!

Is it okay to send an extra peer evaluation?

My peer already sent one, but it was really short compared with others'...total 349words..

So, I was wondering if I can send an extra peer evaluation by another peer??

Btw, is the deadline extended??!

Please help! Thanks

Only certain people have received a letter granting them an extended deadlines (I’m not sure off hand what criteria was used). A second recommendation will be looked at but keep in mind that admissions is receiving a lot of material at once. Only add additional material if it will add something to your application. 349 words might be fine, there are many long essays that are simply long winded and short essays that really do a good job. (even though 349 words really isn’t that short) I would really discourage you from adding another recommendation just because you don’t think the word count was large enough.

Plus, while slightly late recommendations can make it in on time to be considered, you are still going to need the recommendation done ASAP. A rushed recommendation might not help you out much.

I have two peer recs with my application, as does my good friend who is applying to Dartmouth also this year. Our theory is, it can’t hurt.
