<p>I've received about 27k in scholarship money for the school I'm attending but COA is only about 21k. This is without any financial aid or loans.. What happens with the extra money??</p>

<p>Contact the school financial aid department. Some of it can be applied to books and living expenses. It just depends.</p>
<p>DD’s carried over to the next year. Even after buying books, etc, there was still 3/4 of a year’s worth left.</p>
